Entertaining

My husband and I love to share our home with people for dinners, casual gathering, overnight guests and even vacationers. (After all, we DO live in Florida.)

Food has the great power of bringing people together. What better way to make people feel cared for and pampered in your home than by feeding them?

However, there are so many things to consider when inviting people to your home. What type of food to serve, what is the best way to prepare it, what can be made ahead of time, or what is best served right from the stove? Which dishes look so impressive and will force your guests to gasp in delighted surprise? Most importantly, what will make any tired traveler or nervous visitor relax and feel completely at home? Last but not least, what are some ways to make all this easy to accomplish for you, the host?

This is where I want to share some hospitality tips that I have discovered and that work for me. May your homes bring warmth and smiles to your guests and satisfaction (and sanity) to you.
